Winter. My sis and the dog Betty came to visit me for one night.
It is still winter.

Let's cross our fingers and hope it's working.

Dear Alva

Few year old pic of my niece

Thursday afternoon

Found on the interweb, I don't remember the source. Would really love to have a wall with palm trees on it.
Thinking about making portraits of serial killers.

Animate

Think I'm gonna get rid of my photo blog and show them here again.
Not that I take much pictures these days. But it'll come.

Atomic Moonshine

I made a CD-cover couple of months ago, for a local band named Atomic Moonshine (my sister's on the drums).
They wanted to have an 80s-cartoon style. You can find them on myspace and also here on youtube.

A3 format, aquarelle and ink.

Alice

Alice in Wonderland doodled in boredom.

Två sidor av samma mynt

Illustrations I've made for a comic magazine, "Transit", wich portraits a crossdressing woman,
her difficulties growing up etc. The author had an interview with this woman, Johanna, he asked me if I wanted to make illustrations for it. And I was happy to!

The comic is a biography about a male transvestite and his difficulties in life, growing up, fantasies and meetings with other people. He had 27 artist (including me) drawing for his manuscript!
You can find out more about this project here: Transit

The dreamy princess Gnat Swarm

This is a little princess, named Gnat Swarm, who crawled out from my mind in December.
I'm planning to write a book for children where she's the hero.
Not sure how the story will go but it will not be as creepy as her looks.
She's just curious, maybe too curious...

John Bauer

Source of inspiration, since always.

Who doesn't love John Bauer? I could go on for a long time explaining why his art is so dear to me.
Not just that I grew up with stories that he illustrated but I've always loved forests, mystery, fairy tales and myths. He illustrates it so perfectly beautiful. Sometimes it breaks my heart knowing that some places aren't real.

I've made a few fan-arts, but most of them when I was under 9 years old.
The most recent is from 2008, wich I gave to my father. Take a look: link.
And an older one, from 1997, six years old: link.

Take care and may all the creatures of the forest be with you.
